Vamia

Vamia was launched on 2017 as three educational institutions merged into one. Vamia is a multi-disciplinary vocational education provider with over 7,000 students every year. Vamia provides vocational education for the young (age 16 and up), adult students and for companies and entrepreneurs in Finnish, Swedish and English. At Vamia it is possible to study for a degree in nearly 60 different basic, further and specialist vocational qualifications.

We offer

At Vamia’s two campuses, Hansa and Sampo, the variety of degrees we offer include, for example, electrical engineering and automation, machining, welding and property maintenance services.

Selected references

Vamia cooperates continuously with working life and we train new skilful staff for the region’s companies. In addition, the employed workforce regularly update their skills at Vamia’s tailor-made courses.

We are looking for

Vamia is currently looking for on-the-job and apprenticeship training places for students, and we also take on subcontractor jobs. Together with EduVamia Oy we offer various courses and up-to-date training for the the local workforce.
